My daughter spotted some magpies attacking a Jackdaw. After being rescued it decided to hang out with us for a while. -

Our 6yo learned this year that Toys for Tots is a thing. On finding out how many kids don’t get toys for Christmas she packed up ALL of her own toys for donation, and she told us she didn’t want anything this year except toys to give to Toys for Tots. This Marine was very moved. -

A missing dog sign was posted outside of my work this week. This little boy is the only person I have seen stop to read it. After throughly reading it, he begged his mom to take a picture of the sign as she waited impatiently. Now I know there is at least one more person looking for Ollie. -

Two Romanian country kids, Georgian and Andrei, 6 and 9, took the #trashtag challenge without even knowing about it. They were just fed up with the garbage the grownups used to leave on their street. -

My little sister keeping my dog company after he puked. -

Been quarantined for the past 10 days. I received a text message from my 12 year old daughter saying “Dad look out your window!”. -

Daughter won’t let us go anywhere without a trash bag, just in case we find garbage that we need to clean up. She picked this up down our street today. -

My son learned to sew today so he could help make masks for our local grocery store. He did an incredible job and I’m so proud of his kind heart. -

My daughter saved this baby bunny from a cat today! -

My 10yo daughter, who I’ve been teaching to cook during lockdown, has baked me a birthday cake from scratch (without any help)! It’s chocolate ganache, my absolute favorite. I’m so amazed and I can’t stop smiling! -

I put a note in my son’s lunch everyday. Today at parent/teacher conferences I found out that he keeps every one. -

My 12 yo daughter illustrated a portrait of me and put in on a mug for Father’s Day. -

My son has Autism and and loves animals, specifically cats and dogs. He really wants his own puppy “so they can grow up together”. I had the responsibility talk about caring for his own dog. I turn around in the car this morning to see he’s now seat belting his stuffed bulldog while in the car. -

Several years ago, whenever our daughter went outside her pet chicken would rush over to greet her at the door and follow her around for hours. They would explore our property together and have long chats about who knows what! -

Every Thursday morning my little nephew waits for the garbage man to arrive so he can help. Today they brought him a WM hat to wear. -

So my cat died a few days ago and the neighbors kids found out and my this collage of him. Im in tears. -

Son made a friend at an airport. They don’t speak the same language but they can co-exist nicely. -

5-year-old Shon dresses up to help street cats because “it makes him feel like a superhero for animals”. -

My daughter demanded I get out in the road to throw a towel on the injured bird so she could take him to get medical attention after being hit by a car. She said her Spirit Name (we’re Ojibwe) means she needs to protect “other birdies”. -

It’s my dogs 4th birthday, my daughter spent all her pocket money buying her a steak. -

My son has very little experience with babies but wanted to keep trying ways to get her to stop crying. Surprised at the silence I returned to the room to see him bouncing gently on an exercise ball, totally pleased with himself. -

Yesterday was my birthday. This was my daughters card to me. I’m so proud. -

My sister and her family are going on a trip. Though they have a neighbor watching the cats, my niece was concerned that Watzke (their lap cat) would be lonely and missing and lap to sit on, so she made him a friend. To everyone’s surprise Watzke loves the lap of his new paper companion. -

A kid in my school learned that my wife and I are having a baby, and used her pocket money to buy us this. -
